The carpentry workshop offered an opportunity to explore the craft of woodworking in the creation of solutions to occupy and activate public space. Through practical and collective experimentation, participants were invited to develop structures capable of responding to local dynamics and needs, from urban furniture to devices that enhance community appropriation of the territory. More than a technical exercise, it reflected on materiality as a means to strengthen social bonds and assert the right to the city, recognizing the value of artisanal practices in designing more just and accessible spaces.
